Come and learn all about bats with “The Bat lady” Barbara Ogaard at Camano Island Public Library

June 1 @ 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Free
Bats make great contributions to the quality of life on Earth.
They are the major predators of night flying insects and agricultural pests. They pollinate over 250 products & fruits that we use in United States. Our program will dispel the myths and get the true facts. This is an opportunity to learn a lot about Bats and how we can help save them. My name is Barbara Ogaard. My career has been as a Ranger/Naturalist for Edmonds, Everett and Seattle. My degree is in Zoology/Ethology. I sit on the Board of Directors for Bats Northwest, Sarvey Wildlife Care Center and Happy Valley Bats. Some live Bats like to come with me for the program. Please join us for some Bat Fun.
This is going to be held at the Camano Island Public Library
